Seventy competitors met at the Athanaeum for the
bowling club's annual hot pot supper and quiz night. Fran Skipworth devised the
questions and acted as question master. Margaret Nelson was in charge of the
raffle. The members of the winning team were Wilma and Brian Walters and Peter
and Jill Shaw. The event raised over £200 for bowling club
funds.
