Heversham Toddler group enjoyed a sunny morning in the village playground planting 25 clumps of daffodils to celebrate 25 years of the toddler group.
The children had great fun planting the bulbs, digging the soil, pushing wheelbarrows and playing on the playground equipment. Afterwards 21 parents and 28 children enjoyed a celebration lunch in the Old School. The group's birthday cake featured the new logo which was designed by one of the parents, Jane Tideswell.
Children attend the toddler group between the ages of 0 - 4 years with their carers. The toddler group meets on Wednesday mornings between 9.30 and 11.00 am at the Old School, next to St. Peter's church, Heversham. New members are always most welcome.
