Minutes of
the extra ordinary meeting of the Parish Council which was held in the
Athenaeum, on
Present: Cllr.s P Shaw, T
Parker, A Lucas, A Hulme, T Grindey,
A Bland and the Clerk.
725 Apologies for absence were received from Cllr. G Capstick.
726 There
were no declarations of Members’ interests relating to items appearing on the
agenda.
727 The
following Planning Matters were considered:

SL/2009/0144 Removal of
hedgerow on land between Levens WwTW
and Milnthorpe WwTW. – No objections.
728 The
following payments were authorised:
·
L D Challenor, salary - £577.78
·
Athenaeum annual rental & extra
public meetings - £117.60.
·
Chairmans
Allowance - £42.81
729 Audit
Matters
·
Who to approach to do the internal
audit – Mr Schofield. was considered very suitable.
·
The risk assessment document was
revised and agreed.
·
The effectiveness of the internal
audit was reviewed and the current procedures were considered to be adequate.
730 The date of the next meeting is 27th
April 2009.
