Heversham, Local Government

Heversham and Leasgill come under the Heversham Parish Council which forms part of SLDC, and Cumbria County Council.

               

Roger Bingham is the local County Councillor for Lower Kentdale, and Brenda Woof is the local District Councillor for Levens ward, both of who also attend the Heversham Parish Council meetings.

Heversham and Leasgill are in the Parliamentary Constituency of Westmorland and Lonsdale.
The current MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale is Mr Tim Farron MP.

The Parish Council generally meets at 7.30 pm on the last Monday of every month at the the Athenaeum, Leasgill.
Members of the public may attend but can only speak if invited to do so by the Chair.
