Heversham Community News - 25th October 2002

A UNITED family communion service for Heversham and Milnthorpe was held in St Peter’s Church led by the vicar, the Rev Canon John Hancock. The sermon was preached by the Rev Colin Garnett who was converted to Christianity while in prison, and subsequently ordained with Hope Now Ministries.
The Rev Garnett had no educational achievements from school and lapsed into a life of crime and drug addiction. He now serves as director of Beth Rapha Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation home in Cape Town.
