THERE was a good attendance at the bowling club AGM held in
the Athenaeum,
Leasgill.
Chairman Eric Proctor gave a report on the club’s second season.
The club plans to enter four teams in local leagues
in the coming season.
Mr Proctor was re-elected chairman and club captain; treasurer, Gordon
Coleclough; secretary, John Smith. Eric Schofield is to take over from
Peter Shaw as auditor.
Retiring committee members Jean Handley and Lee Askew were thanked for all
their work for the club.
