Heversham Community News - 15th November 2002

THE Rev Ron Rutter, in the absence of the vicar, conducted a Remembrance Sunday Service and also preached the sermon.

Two minutes silence was observed and the names of the fallen were read.

After the service the congregation assembled at the memorial cross in the churchyard and the silence was again observed and the names read.

Ex-RAF pilot John Brown laid the British Legion wreath.
