A Literary Book Week took place at the primary school when each class studied a particular book. At the end of the week a performance based on the books was given for parents and friends. Class 1 gave Peace at Lost, involving a teddy bear; class 2 performed The Gigantic Thrnip; Alice in Wonderland was the class S choice, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was given by class 4. Parents assisted with making the props and costumes, and at the end of the evening a collection was taken and the £135 collected is being given to the Children's Society

A coffee morning was held in the Athenaeum. This was a fund-raising effort for the Heversham Children’s Playground and raised £266.
